ChatGPT is Launching an Android App Very Soon
Since its launch in November, OpenAI’s ChatGPT application has attracted an astonishing number of users, rivalling Threads’ expansion. The business now states that it is prepared to introduce an Android application.
A few months have passed since the free iOS version of the ChatGPT app for iPhones and iPads was released.

Next week will see the introduction of ChatGPT for Android, according to a tweet from OpenAI, though the exact date was not given. Additionally, it contained a link to a Google Play Store pre-order page where people could sign up to receive the software whenever it became ready.
The business promised to provide an Android version soon after the iOS version of ChatGPT launched in May, and it has already done so.
While ChatGPT users must wait to utilize an app for Google’s Bard chatbot because it lacks specialised mobile apps and only has a web-based interface, they can use Microsoft’s Bing app instead. Using its Prometheus Model and GPT-4, this has been accessible on both Android and iOS platforms since February.

According to data from Sensor Tower and Similarweb, web traffic and app installations decreased in June, which is against the backdrop of this release. Additionally, several users have recently complained that GPT-4’s performance is getting “slower and dumber”.
This criticism was handled by OpenAI earlier this week, who assured that the APIs are always being updated.
