China Invites Pakistani Firms to Online Trade Fair
Islamabad: Chinese Minister Counsellor Embassy Xie Gouxiang has extended an invitation to Pakistani businesses to join the Canton Fair and consider opportunities for exporting their goods abroad.

According to Gouxiang, the exhibition served as a forum for win-win collaboration between various nations, allowing businesspeople from around the world to network, discuss opportunities, and work towards shared development objectives.
He said that the Canton Fair would keep waiving exhibitor fees and without charging any fees to international e-commerce platforms taking part in synchronized events in order to further assist businesses in lowering their production and operating costs.
In his remarks, Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan expressed his appreciation to Xie Gouxiang for providing thorough details regarding the advantages of attending the online expo and gave his assurance that ICCI member companies would take part in the event.

The second phase of the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA-II) was welcomed by him, and he underlined that China should give Pakistani goods better access to its markets, since imports from China were $12.7 billion and exports from Pakistan to China totaled $1.85 billion in 2019.
Khan stated that Special Economic Zones (SEZs) were being established across Pakistan as part of CPEC and that Chinese businesses should transfer technology to establish joint ventures with Pakistani counterparts that shared a 50% equity stake.
