Climate Change Ministry to Generate 200,000 Green Jobs
According to news sources, the climate change ministry in Islamabad has declared that new projects will create 200,000 green jobs for women, youth, and local communities by the end of the year.

As part of the Lake Manchar plan in Sindh province, locals will create green jobs, according to an official. In addition, a similar project will be established in Dera Ismail (DI) Khan, where nature-based solutions will be used to create green jobs.
In addition, the climate change ministry discussed green employment problems with higher-ups. Under the Green Stimulus Initiative, they established the objective of producing green jobs.

In addition, the ministry has established a strategy for financing green jobs, which will be backed by the Ecosystem Restoration Fund. The Ecosystem Restoration Fund includes the Asian Development Bank, Green Bonds, and the Debt4Nature Swap programme in order to finance green jobs.
According to Malik Amin Aslam, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Climate Change, the number of green jobs would continue to increase over the next few years.
