CM Alyani Orders to Work on Drinking Water & Drainage Projects
According to news reports, Jam Kamal Khan Alyani, the chief minister of Balochistan, has instructed the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) to hasten construction on the port city’s drainage and water supply projects.
Consequently, CM Alyani instructed the authority to speed up the installation of pipes from the Sod Dam and Shadi Kaur Dam to handle the city’s escalating water and drainage issues.
During a project review meeting chaired by the chief minister, the province administration addressed the participants on ongoing development projects in the city aimed at addressing the residents’ growing concerns through the provision of basic infrastructure and services.

During the meeting, CM Kamal also asked the GDA to modernize the Gwadar Jannat Bazar and Shahi Bazaar in the old city of Gwadar.
