CM Lays Foundation Stone of Shahkam Flyover, Lahore Projects
Sardar Usman Buzdar, chief minister of Punjab, lay the foundation stone for the signal-free Shahkam Chowk flyover project, valued at Rs 4.23 billion, to facilitate the daily flow of 1.25 million cars.

The 606-meter-long, two-sided, three-lanes-per-side project would be completed in ten months, while land acquisition and open bidding saved Rs 395 million.
Under the project, a 6-kilometer-long defensive road will be dualized from labour colony to Multan Road, and two minor bridges will be constructed at the Hudiara Drain and canal.
In the meanwhile, he stated that three parking lots were being constructed at Sheranwala Gate, Masti Gate, and Ek Moriya Pul to accommodate over one thousand automobiles.
The prime minister announced the establishment of a network of shelter homes and almshouses to accommodate the unattended elements of society, as well as the recruitment of 10,000 police officers and the deployment of 600 new cars.

He remarked that it is gratifying that the Lahore police have concluded all high-profile cases in record time and that the CTD headquarters project has been finished by the PTI-led administration.
The government has increased the development budget by 66 percent, the health budget by 185 percent, the higher education budget by 286 percent, the school education budget by 29 percent, the agriculture budget by 306 percent, and the industries budget by 307 percent, while recovering PRA’s dues by 24.7 percent more.
