The interim chief minister of Punjab, Syed Mohsin Naqvi, inspected the continuing construction at Lahore’s Shahdara Chowk and the River Ravi Bridge late at night.
He evaluated the drilling operations at the site and watched the night shift personnel during his visit. Naqvi emphasized the need of finishing the project on time, therefore he gave the team instructions to work quickly and make use of all available resources to guarantee that the project is finished by January 31.

Earlier that evening, CM Naqvi also opened the Islamia Ground Sports Complex in Lahore. He played a game of chess with the staff and showed them around the facility, stopping at the gym, the squash court, the badminton hall, the snooker room, the table tennis hall, the swimming pool, and the women’s gym.
He applauded the commissioner’s and the Lahore Development Authority’s (LDA) efforts in furnishing the complex with first-rate amenities. The chief minister emphasized that the facility currently provides more than 20 indoor sports for both genders and cited the rising demand for the Rs200,000 memberships.
