November 10, RAWALPINDI (APP): On Friday, Mohsin Naqvi, the interim chief minister of Punjab, visited Rawalpindi and examined the earthwork for the Rawalpindi Ring Road Project. The Chief Minister also discussed the project’s advancement and observed the Khalsa Khurd site at Adiala Interchange.
It was the third time the CM had visited in 25 days to assess the project’s advancement. He gave the relevant authorities the order to quicken the project’s speed of work. He gave the required directives to the FWO officials and the Commissioner of the Rawalpindi Division, stating that every effort should be made to finish the project as soon as possible.
Mohsin Naqvi instructed the officials to complete the project expeditiously. He claimed that the residents of Rawalpindi and Islamabad would benefit from the ring road construction. The 38-kilometer road was inspected from the air by the Chief Minister, who also noted the progress of the ongoing work. Colonel Ayaz of the FWO briefed Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

The CM was informed that the six-lane Rawalpindi Ring Road is 38.3 km long. Additionally, development has begun on the Ring Road’s Banth and Chak Beli Interchanges. NESPAK had further supplied the required ring road project plans per the Chief Minister’s directives.
The contractor for the building work had received full ownership of the property needed for the ring road, as the CM was informed. The Rawalpindi Ring Road building was underway with heavy gear’s arrival.
Work on building drainage channels, road segments, and subways has also begun. Officials from the FWO, Deputy Commissioner, City Police Officer, Regional Police Officer, and Commissioner Rawalpindi Division were present for the event.
