Commissioner Lahore Takes Strict Action Against LDA Avenue-I
LAHORE: To address the issue of unauthorised structures and encroachments on parking spaces, a sizable operation was conducted at LDA Avenue-I in accordance with the directives of Commissioner Lahore and Director General (DG) Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa.

During the operation on Thursday, LDA personnel dismantled sheds, boards, floors, and other unauthorised buildings at more than 35 commercial locations. As part of the operation, more than 20 properties were also closed.
Shahmir Iqbal, Additional DG Housing Captain (Retd), was in charge of the operation, which included a sizable presence of police officers and huge equipment. In L-Block, more than 10 Kanals of land that were originally earmarked for road construction had been illegally taken by the land grabbing gang.
