Sialkot: According to the most recent information, six roadways are undergoing construction as part of the Punjab government’s city package, which aims to modernize Sialkot. This information was revealed by Capt. (Retd.) Shahmeer Iqbal, Deputy Commissioner. According to the sources, Mir Iqbal disclosed during a meeting on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the DC Office that the estimated construction cost for these six roadways under the city package is PKR 1,091 million.

Enhancing the infrastructure of this significant industrial metropolis’s infrastructure is this project’s primary objective. During the discussion, a directive was given to complete the ongoing construction work by mid-December. Iqbal noted that daily control is in place to ensure the package is finished on time.
