Construction of Hospital, Varsity Announced
The Faisalabad Industrial Estate & Management Corporation (FIEDMC) would build a campus for a technical university, a divisional public school, and an advanced hospital in the two industrial zones.

These institutions will be created, according to FIEDMC Chairman Kashif Ashfaq, to offer the population of the areas surrounding the economic zones access to health and educational resources.
In order to meet its social obligations, he continued, the corporation was paying special attention to the growth of the areas near the Allama Iqbal Industrial City and M3 Industrial City. He stated that locals would receive 25% of the jobs in both economic zones.
A special economic zone (SEZ) known as Allama Iqbal Industrial City (AIIC) spans 3,217 acres, while M3-Industrial City is home to numerous projects in the textile, pharmaceutical, information technology, chemicals, automotive, and service industries. At the AIIC, construction work has been ongoing since November 2019.

He said that in a meeting a few days prior, Abdul Razak Dawood, the PM’s adviser for commerce and investment, gave him the assurance that special incentives will be provided in the upcoming budget to promote new textile goods and to expand economic zones.
