Construction on Khayaban-e-Firdousi Remodeling Project
Recently, a news source claimed that the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has agreed to commence building on the Allah Hoo roundabout, the Khayaban-e-Firdousi renovation, and the Shoq Chowk to Shaukat Khanum Flyover.

The LDA has already awarded the project to Messers Concept Engineering for PKR 96 million; the company is anticipated to complete the project within two months. According to the Director-General (DG) of the LDA, Ahmad Aziz Tarar, the project will relieve traffic concerns in the city and help 0.2 million people daily.
In addition, the proposal calls for the Allah Hoo roundabout to be demolished and the Khayaban-e-Firdousi route to be dualized.

Additionally, two protected U-turns will be constructed prior to and following the Allah Hoo roundabout. Additionally, Mahmood Chowk, Jagawar Chowk, and Shadiwal Chowk will be renovated and new traffic signals will be put to maintain smooth traffic flow at the bottleneck.
