Construction Work on Sheranwala Flyover, Gulab Devi Underpass
Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) finished the bidding for the Gulab Devi underpass and the Sheranwala Gate Flyover, setting the way for the beginning of civil works on these projects shortly after Eid.

Two companies were identified as the lowest bidders after the bids were opened at the LDA Johar Town Complex, according to government sources.
While a different private company was successful in obtaining the Gulab Devi underpasses project after maintaining the lowest bid with 1% less than the project’s total cost, a private firm was declared the lowest bidder with 2.5 percent less than the total estimated cost of the Sheranwala Gate project.

A flyover between the Naulakha police station and Sheranwala Gate is reportedly planned as part of the Rs 4.9 billion Sheranwala Gate project.
The 400-meter high flyover will alleviate congestion on Circular Road, where around 121,421 vehicles pass each day. 22 private canals were purchased for more than Rs 2 billion as part of the price.
