A Lahore court on Thursday extended the physical remand of popular YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, for another four days in connection with an online gambling case.
He was produced before Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo at the district courts, where the government prosecutor argued that the investigation was still ongoing. According to the prosecutor, several new names have emerged during the initial five-day remand, and full details will be presented at the next hearing. The court was asked to grant more time for questioning.
Ducky Bhai’s lawyer, Chaudhry Usman Ali, opposed the request, but after hearing both sides, the magistrate approved the extension.
The YouTuber, who was taken into custody on August 16 from Lahore airport, has been accused of promoting an online gambling app.
