CPEC to Be Made an ‘exemplary Project’: Xi
China will work with Pakistan to pursue outcomes that are of a high grade, sustainable, and livelihood-enhancing, according to Chinese President Xi Jinping, who also pledged to further develop the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) into an exemplary undertaking of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. In a message of congratulations to the CPEC decade celebration event held in Islamabad, Xi made the comments. CPEC is a significant pioneering project of the Belt and Road collaboration, according to Xi. China and Pakistan have been pursuing CPEC since its debut in 2013 on the basis of comprehensive collaboration, collaborative contribution, and shared advantages, and have seen a number of early harvests as a result.

He added that it is a striking example of the all-weather friendship between China and Pakistan and serves as a solid foundation for forging an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era. This has given Pakistan’s economic and social development new impetus and laid the groundwork for regional connectivity and integration, he said.
Xi emphasized that no matter how the world environment changes, China will always stand solidly with Pakistan and that both countries will continue to strengthen overall planning and extend and deepen cooperation.

Xi said In order to make an even greater contribution to peace and prosperity in the two countries as well as the wider region, China and Pakistan will continue to collaborate closely and move forward in unity to uphold the ironclad friendship, coordinate development and security, pursue cooperation of higher standards, broader scope, and greater depth, and take the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership to new heights.
