There have been numerous reports verifying the appearance of the crescent moon for Jamadi-ul-Awwal 1447 AH from different regions of Quetta.
Clear weather in Quetta and the surrounding areas made it easy to see the moon, according to Maulana Anwar-ul-Haq Haqqani, the chairman of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of Balochistan.
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has received the information from the local committee after it has verified the testimony from various sites.
Maulana Haq clarified that following its meeting, the central committee would make the definitive declaration regarding the start of the Islamic month of Jamadi-ul-Awwal 1447 AH.
Religious experts prayed for the stability, peace, and well-being of the Islamic world on this particular occasion.
