Karachi is still facing hot weather, as reported by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The temperature in the city is around 33°C and could rise to 37°C later today (Thursday).

According to the Met Office, a low-pressure system has formed in the east-central Arabian Sea, about 1,075 kilometers southeast of Karachi. This weather system might grow stronger and turn into a depression as it moves north.

Despite this, the PMD confirmed that there is no threat to Pakistan’s coastal areas at this time.

The Cyclone Warning Centre is keeping a close watch on the situation and will provide updates if needed.
