PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Valley housing society has been the target of significant fraud, according to Shah Fahad, the city’s deputy commissioner.
In a statement made public on Monday, Fahad revealed that 1,375 kanals of land had been fraudulently transferred illegally.
It was Assistant Commissioner Rao Hashim’s responsibility to look into the numerous complaints made by the public, which led to the discovery of the fraudulent land transfer.
The Deputy Commissioner immediately made a decision in reaction to this worrying discovery.

In addition to announcing the immediate suspension of three revenue employees who were directly involved in the illegal land transfer, he ruled the invalidity of the fraudulent land transfer.
He continued by advising the officials who were involved in organising the illicit transfer be fired.
The DC emphasised the necessity of pursuing legal action against those responsible.
This information came to light in line with recent efforts to combat corruption in the regional government.
13 officials have been suspended for participating in corrupt activities just in the last six months.
Additionally, five more officials could be fired for the same reasons.

The Deputy Commissioner was adamant that officials found engaging in fraudulent behaviour would not be treated leniently.
He declared that those found guilty will not only lose their jobs but also be subject to the full power of the law’s penalties.
