Deadline Publicized for LDA City’s Allottees to Pay Charges
Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has reminded allottees of LDA City plots in the first and second ballots to settle their outstanding development charges by March 31. The authorities has threatened to terminate the land allocation if the outstanding fee is not paid by the due date.

Apparently, the notification includes the following instructions for project file holders and recipients:
- By visiting the LDA website and inputting their plot and file number, plot owners can view outstanding dues and get challans.
- The deadline for the sixth installment of eight has passed; the seventh installment is due on March 31, 2022.
- Beneficiaries can make payments at any Allied Bank branch or online via One-Link.
- Allottees can make modifications to their LDA challan by visiting the LDA Directorate in Johar Town, Lahore, or by contacting the LDA via its official WhatsApp account.

- The allotment of plots will be forfeited if the outstanding payments are not made in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the exemption letter issued by the authorities. In addition, LDA announced last month that it would need between 6 and 9 billion PKR to complete the housing project’s development. To secure these money, the government opted to borrow PKR 5 billion from the Bank of Punjab (BOP). The funding will be utilized to fulfill municipal projects and build infrastructure for roads.
