Islamabad – May 28, 2025 — The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has warned that heavy to moderate rain will continue in the coming days, increasing the risk of landslides in parts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The NDMA’s National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC) said areas at high risk include Mansehra, Kolai Palas, Upper Kohistan, Darel, Diamir, Gilgit, Nagar, and Hunza.

Residents in these areas are advised to avoid unnecessary travel and stay alert. The NDMA has warned about dangers like landslides, falling rocks, slope failures, and sinking ground.
