US President Donald Trump has shared a post by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his Truth Social account, highlighting Pakistan’s offer to host potential peace talks between the United States and Iran.

In his message on X, PM Shehbaz said Pakistan is ready to facilitate “meaningful and conclusive talks” aimed at reaching a comprehensive peace agreement, subject to approval from both Washington and Tehran.

Trump reposted the message without adding any comment. However, he has previously expressed support for diplomatic efforts and indicated that some progress has been made through indirect communication regarding the Iran situation.

The development comes at a time of ongoing regional tensions, with Pakistan being seen as a possible mediator alongside other countries. Islamabad has also been suggested as a potential venue for any future negotiations, though no formal talks have been confirmed so far.

Iran has not officially responded to the proposal, and the initiative remains at the level of informal diplomatic discussions.
