Global Village in Dubai will remain closed until Friday, March 6, as a precautionary step following official safety guidance.
In a statement shared on social media, Global Village advised visitors to check its official website and social media platforms for updates about when it will reopen.
Meanwhile, Emaar confirmed that all its communities, shopping malls, hospitality properties, and development projects are continuing to operate normally despite the rising tensions in the region.
UAE authorities have urged residents to follow safety instructions during warning alerts, explaining that such alerts are issued only to protect lives. Officials also warned people not to leave their homes or stop vehicles to record videos during such situations, as this could create serious safety risks.
Authorities said the alerts are part of the UAE’s national early warning system, which is designed to help people stay prepared and take preventive measures when needed.
The government has also advised the public not to spread rumors or share unverified information online and encouraged everyone to rely only on official sources. Under UAE law, spreading false or misleading information can lead to legal action.
The Ministry of Interior also advised residents to take shelter immediately in secure buildings during possible missile threats and to stay away from windows, doors, and open areas for safety.
