Dubai Property Market Records Massive $3.1 Billion Sales
According to the Dubai Land Department (DLD) The amount of transactions in Dubai’s real estate market this week totaled AED 11.5 billion ($3.1 billion).
The 3,397 transactions were made in Dubai, with 2,498 flats and villas selling for a total of AED 5.54 billion ($1.5 billion) and 228 plots selling for AED 2.59 billion ($705 million).
A parcel in the Business Bay neighbourhood sold for AED 168.28 million ($45.8 million), closely followed by another plot in the same neighbourhood for AED 167.81 million ($54.6 million). Both deals were the priciest purchases ever.

AED 2.67 billion ($727 million) was the overall value of mortgaged properties, with Jebal Ali First having the greatest value at AED 796 million ($216 million). 230 properties worth AED 723 million ($197 million) were donated or exchanged amongst family members.
