Strong tremors were felt across different regions of Pakistan early Monday after a 5.4 magnitude earthquake struck the country.
The quake jolted Islamabad and several cities in Punjab, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Mandi Bahauddin, and Gujrat. People in Chakwal, Daska, Kallar Kahar, Kharian, and nearby towns also reported feeling the shocks.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the tremors reached Swat, Dir, Buner, Kohat, Mardan, Mansehra, and North Waziristan. The earthquake was also experienced in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, and across Gilgit-Baltistan.
Authorities have not reported any major damage or casualties so far.
