Earthquake Hits Major Cities in Pakistan
Earlier today (19 July), a 4.5-magnitude earthquake sent shockwaves through Pakistan’s largest cities, including Islamabad and Lahore.
According to Volcano Discovery, the 4.5-magnitude earthquake’s epicentre was discovered to be in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region.

It began 205 km or more below the surface, far underground.
Different sources have, however, noted a little variation in the recorded magnitude. The National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad reports that the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.1 and a depth of about 208 kilometres.
The ground shook, causing widespread worry and terror in the impacted cities, including Haripur, Kamra, Rawalpindi, Hawelian, Islamabad, Lahore, and Muzzafarabad.

People claimed to feel faint vibrations, which led to minor disturbances and widespread anxiety.
