On September 26, the regulator organized a public hearing regarding the CPPA petition. Furthermore, it stated that the regulator reduced the FCA by 37 paisa per unit for the month of July.
In the month of October, consumers would be given the relief in the billing, and the FCA for August would be 49 paisa less than that for July.
Therefore, it stated that consumers who had previously gotten their electricity bills would receive payment in November.
Considering the exception of lifeline, prepayment, and electrical vehicle charging stations, the relief would be offered to all consumers. Users of the K-Electric won’t be affected by it.
