Faisalabad to Get ADB-Funded Wastewater Treatment Plant Soon
According to news reports, Faisalabad Divisional Commissioner Saqib Manan said that the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will fund a wastewater treatment plant in Faisalabad.

The PKR 20 billion wastewater treatment plant idea will resolve the growing environmental concerns in the industrial metropolis.
According to WASA’s Managing Director Jabbar Anwar, the multibillion rupee project would be completed in four phases, including the establishment of city beautification and horticulture, capacity building for authorities and staff, and environmental protection.

The initiative is viewed as a step forward in addressing the difficulties of the city, whose population has grown mostly owing to urban migration. Furthermore, in response to public complaints regarding WASA services, officials indicated that it is essential to pay the services charge in order to receive superior services.
