The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad, has announced the official date sheet for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) 1st Annual Examination 2026 for both SSC Part I and Part II (Class 9 and Class 10).
According to the schedule, the examinations will begin on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
Students are required to report at 8:30 AM for the morning session and 2:00 PM for the evening session. Morning papers will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, while evening papers will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Some subjects have shorter durations, including 2½-hour and 45-minute practical papers.
The exams will continue until April 30, 2026, with practical examinations scheduled through early May for failure and improvement candidates. Closed days are scheduled on Sundays and public holidays as per the timetable.
The board has included a wide range of compulsory and elective subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, English, Urdu, Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies, General Science, Economics, Education, Arabic, Geography, and various technical and vocational subjects. Practical exams for science and computer subjects are also part of the schedule.
