The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has set up a four-member committee to oversee and fully operationalize the International Center for Tax Excellence (ICTE).
According to an official notification, the ICTE has been established under Section 230J of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. To ensure smooth operations, the FBR has formed a Monitoring Committee.

Committee Members
The committee will be chaired by Muhammad Iqbal, a BS-21 officer of the Inland Revenue Service and Member Admin/HR. Other members include:
- Ahmad Shuja Khan – Member (Audit/CRM)
- Ardsher Saleem Tariq – Member (Reforms & Modernization)
- Fida Muhammad – Chief (International Taxes), Directorate General of International Tax Operations
This committee will play a key role in enhancing tax excellence in Pakistan by ensuring the effective implementation of ICTE.
