The application process for customs auctioneers has begun, according to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
FBR said on Friday that it was accepting applications for registration as an auctioneer under Rules 50 and 51 of the 2001 Customs Rules. SRO-450 (1) 12001 served as notice. Dated 18.06.2001.
The following requirements, outlined in Rule 52 of the ibid Rules, must be met by the prospective auctioneer:

52 Requirements for registration. To be eligible for registration as an auctioneer, a person must meet the following requirements: be a Pakistani citizen; be at least thirty years old; have been actively engaged in the auction business for at least five years; have a well-established office in Pakistan; be deemed to be financially sound by a scheduled bank; be a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and be an income tax assessee.
By September 5, 2023, candidates who meet the aforementioned requirements can submit their applications to the FBR.
