According to the Hajj Policy for 2025, formally published by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain, there will be 179,210 pilgrim spots available this year. He revealed that 79,600 pilgrims, or half of the quota, would be split equally between government and private sector arrangements during a press briefing in Islamabad.

The ministry stated that 2,000 people will be assembled for the Hajj the following year. He stated that an initial deposit of Rs. 200,000 is required for applicants to submit their Haj applications. An additional Rs. Four hundred thousand must be paid following the draw. Before the trip begins in February, the outstanding balance must be paid.
This year’s process has significantly shifted by limiting Hajj participation to adults; minors are no longer permitted to make the trip. Furthermore, the payment for pilgrims who die while performing the Hajj has been raised from Rs. 1 million to Rs. 2 million.
The statement follows the Hajj Policy’s approval by the Federal Cabinet, which also described the government’s Hajj package. This year’s government Hajj package is anticipated to cost between Rs. 1,065,000 and Rs. 1,075,000.
