The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration authorities at Jinnah International Airport have taken action against a passenger involved in illegal fundraising and begging activities overseas.
During immigration clearance, officials offloaded Aman Ali, a resident of Hyderabad, who was attempting to travel to Malaysia on a visit visa. Authorities found that he was misusing the visa for unlawful activities.
A search of his mobile phone revealed videos, chat records, and affidavits linked to an illegal fundraising campaign. Investigators said Aman Ali had been collecting donations abroad in the name of mosques and madrasas.
His travel history showed multiple trips to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
Following initial questioning, the passenger was handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, Karachi, for further investigation and legal action.
