The final moments leading up to the tragic murder of 17-year-old TikToker Sana Yousuf have been revealed, shedding light on her last conversation with her alleged killer, Umar Hayat, also known as “Kaka.” The fatal encounter took place outside Sana’s residence in Islamabad, where the young social media star was shot twice and died on the spot.

According to investigative sources, 22-year-old Umar Hayat had been persistently pursuing Sana for a relationship, which she repeatedly declined. During their last confrontation, eyewitnesses report that Sana attempted to defuse the tension. She warned Umar about the presence of surveillance, saying, “You are getting angry, leave this place. There are CCTV cameras, go away,” moments before gunfire erupted.

The suspect fled the crime scene but was swiftly tracked and arrested by Islamabad Police in Faisalabad within 20 hours. Authorities used CCTV footage and digital tracing to locate him. The murder weapon and Sana Yousuf’s phone were recovered from his possession at the time of arrest.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the swift and efficient efforts of the police. Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi revealed that seven investigative teams were deployed, 37 individuals were questioned, and 11 raids were conducted to solve the case.

Sana Yousuf, a rising TikTok influencer with over 800,000 followers, was known for her engaging lip-sync videos in Urdu, Hindi, and Pashto. Her murder has sent shockwaves across Pakistan, sparking a broader conversation about the safety of young content creators, online harassment, and the urgent need for protective measures in the digital space.
