Following their private wedding in Venice, Italy, former journalist and philanthropist Lauren Sánchez posted the first official picture of herself and Amazon entrepreneur Jeff Bezos.
The couple’s six-year romance, which started in 2019 and was made public the same year, reached a major turning point with their June 27 wedding on the charming island of San Giorgio Maggiore.
Sánchez shared the photo on Instagram shortly after the ceremony, adding a heart symbol as the caption and the simple words “06/27/2025.” Additionally, Sánchez changed her name and platform identity to “Lauren Sánchez Bezos” in the message, signifying a symbolic shift.
Standing next to Bezos in the picture, Sánchez is dressed in a lavishly detailed lace wedding dress featuring 180 silk chiffon-covered priest buttons on the front, sheer sleeves, and a fitted mermaid style. The third-richest man in the world, Bezos, was seen grinning next to her in a dark formal suit as they posed in a garden-themed environment surrounded by beautiful vegetation.
A follow-up post gave fans a better look at the custom-designed gown by sharing more solitary photos of Sánchez wearing her bridal apparel.
The couple revealed their engagement in May 2023, two years prior to their well-publicized union. The guest list and ceremony specifics are still mostly under wraps, but the wedding was said to be a star-studded event.
For both, the marriage is the start of a new chapter. Sánchez has taken on more responsibilities in media and space-related projects, frequently working alongside Bezos, while Bezos, who resigned as CEO of Amazon in 2021, has since concentrated on endeavors like Blue Origin and charitable endeavors.
