NLC Trucks Complete One-Side Commercial Run to Turkey
National Logistics Cell (NLC) trucks carrying high-value products from Pakistan have completed their first-ever, one-way run to Turkey and Azerbaijan under the Transports Internationaux Routiers (TIR) convention, according to published news from Lahore.

According to the information provided by the NLC spokesperson, the trucks began their 5,000-kilometer journey from Karachi on September 27 and reached Baku and Istanbul via Tehran on October 7 night. According to reports, the business communities and governments of Azerbaijan and Turkey have responded enthusiastically to this initial movement.
In addition, ceremonies were held in Azerbaijan and Turkey to celebrate the reopening of two international road corridors in the region. Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi stated that it is a landmark achievement that will enhance road connectivity between Turkey and Pakistan and boost bilateral trade.
In addition to raw materials, computers, home appliances, dried fruits, carpets, furniture, textile-related equipment, plastic household items, nonperishable foods, and electronics, it was disclosed that high-value goods also included computers, home appliances, carpets, dried fruits, and furniture.
Once these items have been packed in containers in accordance with legal requirements, they cannot be inspected en route and will be opened at their final destination.
