Forest Department Handovers 3 Rest Houses to TDCP
Lahore: According to news reports, three rest homes operated by the Forest Department in Murree have been transferred to the Tourist Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) on orders from Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) stating that the rest homes will be open to the public was signed at Forest Complex to this effect.
According to the information, the Forest Department will renovate these sites by adding a hostel, children’s play area, Food Street, and other amenities to draw more tourists to the area.

Sibtain Khan, the minister of forests, stated during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding that increased usage of rest stops by the Tourist Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) will result from bilateral cooperation.
More of these facilities would be made available to the public, and floating restaurants will be built in the Sindh River near Kalabagh, it was also announced at the conference.
