Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Pervaiz Khattak is currently receiving medical treatment at PAF Hospital after sustaining injuries in a traffic accident near Nowshera.
According to family sources, the accident occurred on the motorway near Nowshera while Khattak was returning from his mother’s village. He was driving his own vehicle at the time of the incident. The exact cause of the accident has not yet been disclosed.
Family members said Khattak suffered injuries to both arms and fingers. He was initially shifted to Islamabad for medical treatment, where doctors provided emergency care and applied plaster to his injured arms.
After receiving initial treatment, he was moved to a hospital ward for further observation. His condition is reported to be stable, and doctors are continuing medical care as a precaution.
Family sources said he remains under close medical supervision as treatment continues.
