Funds for Construction of Signal-Free Centre to DHA Corridor
The Punjab government has allocated 4.11 billion rupees for road infrastructure projects in various areas of Lahore, including a signal-free corridor from Centre-Point to DHA, according to news reports. The account for Punjab Planning & Development (P & D) has been credited with funds.

The Annual Development Program (ADP) has allocated Rs 4.6 billion for the construction of a newly rehabilitated street in the city to enhance commuting. The most well-known of these initiatives is the signal-free corridor between Center Point and Defense Morr.

The project will construct a full-height underpass near Cavalry Ground at Khalid Butt Chowk. In addition, Defense Mor is accessible via a one-lane, three-lane elevated road from Ghoda Chowk. When the project is completed, there will be a signal-free corridor between Gulberg, Defense, and Cavalry grounds, saving travel time. The addition of a new U-turn at the new midpoint.
