Funds Released for Construction of Grid Station
According to media reports, Punjab Industrial Estates Development Management Company (PIEDMC) has announced the release of PKR 55 million for the construction of a grid station in Bhalwal Industrial Zone and PKR 9.6 million for the installation of a feeder link in Chunian Aqua Business Park.
Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) would establish a 132KV grid station in the Bhalwal Industrial Zone, while Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) will give a feeder link at the Chunian Aqua Business Park, according to the supplied information.
During a meeting of the PRead:
IEDMC’s board of directors, PKR 5.4 million, was agreed for disposal station consulting services in the Vehari and Rahim Yar Khan industrial zones. In addition, thirty million Pakistani rupees were allowed for transaction consulting services for the Muzaffargarh Industrial Zone and the renewal of contracts for employee medical insurance and transportation services.

During the meeting, PIEDMC’s earnings from Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, Vehari, Rahim Yar Khan, and Bhalwal Industrial Zones were disclosed.
It was also claimed that development work had begun in the Bahawalpur Industrial Zone and Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, as well as the Sundar Industrial Estate’s net metering and expansion project. In addition, the participants were notified that the Chunian Industrial Zone has been renamed Aqua Business Park.
