American supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid have announced the discovery of a previously unknown half-sister, Aydan Nix, adding a surprising new chapter to their family story. The revelation was made public in a joint statement released to the Daily Mail, where the sisters shared heartfelt details about connecting with 23-year-old Aydan.
According to the Hadid sisters, Aydan is the daughter of their father, real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, and a woman named Terri Hatfield Dull. This relationship reportedly occurred after Mohamed’s divorce from Yolanda Hadid in 2001. Aydan was born and raised in Florida and had grown up believing another man was her father until his passing when she was 19.

The family was connected in late 2023 after Aydan took a genetic test, which confirmed her biological ties to the Hadids. The discovery came while Aydan was studying abroad in Paris, leading to her first meeting with the Hadid family.

Gigi and Bella expressed their joy over welcoming Aydan into the family, stating that she has met all of them, including their father, and has been fully embraced with love and support. The sisters emphasized their commitment to protecting Aydan’s privacy as she adjusts to life in New York.

In addition to Gigi, 30, Bella, 28, and their brother Anwar, 25, Mohamed Hadid also has two daughters from his first marriage: Marielle, 44, and Alana, 41. The Hadid family has asked the public to respect Aydan’s wish to remain out of the spotlight as she begins this new chapter.
