The price of gold in Pakistan reached another record high for the 4th consecutive day on Friday. According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold increased by Rs. 200 per tola, bringing it to a new all-time high of Rs. 262,800. Additionally, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs. 172, reaching Rs. 224,623.

This continues a direction of record-breaking prices seen earlier this week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Sarafa Association noted that the local gold price is currently set at Rs. 2,000 per tola below its actual market cost, a smaller discount than the Rs. 1,000 cut from the previous day.
In the international market, mark gold increased by 0.7% to $2,500.83 per ounce, while US gold futures went up by 0.8% to $2,536.50.
