The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan caught a gain of Rs. 1,600 per tola, reaching Rs. 275,500 on Saturday, compared to Rs. 273,900 on the recent trading day. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 1,372, bringing it to Rs. 236,197 from Rs. 234,825.
Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold also went up to Rs. 216,514 from Rs. 215,256, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
Despite the rise in gold prices, the rates for silver stayed stable. The price per tola and 10 grams of silver stayed at Rs. 3,050 and Rs. 2,614.88, respectively. In the international market, the gold price increased by $16, climbing to $2,656 from $2,640.
This significant gold rate increase has set a new record gold price in the country, making it challenging for buyers. The gold price in Pakistan has been at its peak, reflecting global trends.
