Google has released its latest Pixel Drop for November, introducing several new AI-powered features and system upgrades for Pixel users. The update brings improvements to Google Maps, Messages, Photos, and system-level tools, focusing on smarter notifications, battery efficiency, and user safety.

The November Pixel Drop is part of Google’s quarterly rollout, which adds new functionalities to enhance the overall Pixel experience. This update includes AI tools such as photo remixing, low-power navigation, and scam detection powered by Google’s Gemini Nano model.

One of the biggest additions is the new “Remix” feature in Messages. Powered by Google’s Nano Banana image model, Remix allows users to transform ordinary photos with simple prompts, such as turning a selfie into a themed portrait. The feature is currently available in countries including the U.S., U.K., India, Canada, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand for RCS and English users.

Google Photos has also gained a “Help me edit” option, allowing users to give natural commands like “remove sunglasses,” or “make someone smile,” with AI automatically applying the edits.

In notifications, Google has added smarter conversation summaries and the ability to automatically silence low-priority alerts, starting with Pixel 9 and newer devices. The Pixel VIPs feature is being upgraded as well, users can now receive crisis alerts if their selected contacts are in affected areas during emergencies.

Battery performance also gets a boost through a new low-power mode for Google Maps, now available on the Pixel 10 series. When active, this mode limits the screen to essential navigation details, potentially adding up to four extra hours of battery life during travel.

Google’s scam detection system, powered by Gemini Nano, has expanded to new regions including the U.K., Ireland, India, Australia, and Canada. A new “Likely a scam” label now appears on suspicious messages, offering another layer of security.

Additionally, the “Call Notes” feature, which transcribes phone conversations automatically, is being extended to Australia, Canada, the U.K., Ireland, and Japan.

To add a touch of personalization, the November Pixel Drop introduces a new theme pack titled “Wicked: For Good,” inspired by the movie. It features new wallpapers, system icons, and sounds for Pixel 6 and newer models.
