In a standout demonstration of corporate excellence, Gourmet Foods Pakistan achieved a rare triple victory at both regional and national levels, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s most successful conglomerates. The company’s landmark accomplishments were recognised at the 9th South Asian Partnership Summit & Business Excellence Awards 2025 (SAPS), held on November 27, 2025, at the Hotel Cinnamon Life (City of Dreams) in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The prestigious summit brought together business leaders from eight South Asian nations, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives, Sri Lanka, and India, to celebrate resilience, innovation, and excellence in a challenging economic environment. Against this highly competitive regional backdrop, Gourmet Foods emerged as one of the event’s biggest winners, setting a new benchmark for success.

The Lahore-based group secured three major honours at SAPS. It was awarded the “Best Manufacturing Company in the FMCG Sector”, recognising its operational excellence, with the award received by Director Shaharyar Nawaz Chattha. Gourmet also won the “Best in Talent Management Award” under the HR Leadership category, received by Group Head HR Islam ul-Hassan, in recognition of the company’s strategic focus on human capital development.

The highlight of the evening came when Gourmet Foods Pakistan’s CEO, Mr. Zubair Nawaz Chattha, was named “CEO of the Year 2025”. The award, received on his behalf by Zulqarnain Nawaz Chattha, honoured his visionary leadership and transformative role in driving sustainable growth, placing him among the leading industrial figures across the eight-nation region.

At the same time, Gourmet’s dominance was equally evident on the domestic stage. At Pakistan’s premier Brands of the Year Awards, the company was recognized as “The Brand Icon of Pakistan 2025” in the beverage category, with its carbonated soft drinks acknowledged as an iconic national brand. Further strengthening this achievement, Gourmet’s CEO was also named “CEO of the Year 2025” in the bakery category, highlighting the conglomerate’s strong presence across multiple consumer segments.

These accolades reflect Gourmet’s sustained journey of growth and excellence, recognising not only its leadership in manufacturing and brand building, but also its commitment to nurturing a skilled and motivated workforce.

Together, these regional and national honours signal a company operating at the height of its capabilities. While the South Asian awards affirm Gourmet’s competitiveness on a regional scale, the national recognition underscores its deep and enduring connection with Pakistani consumers. For Gourmet Foods Pakistan, 2025 stands as a defining year, demonstrating that consistent investment in quality, innovation, and talent leads to industry leadership and a lasting brand legacy.
