The federal government has raised fuel prices for the next fortnight, increasing the rate of high-speed diesel by Rs. 7.32 per litre and petrol by Rs. 5 per litre, according to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division.
The revised prices will come into effect from February 16, 2026, following recommendations made by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
Under the updated rates, high-speed diesel will now cost Rs. 275.70 per litre, compared to the previous price of Rs. 268.38 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of motor spirit (petrol) has been set at Rs. 258.17 per litre for the next 15 days.
The notification stated that the new prices will remain applicable for the upcoming fortnight and will be reviewed again in accordance with changes in international oil prices and overall market conditions.
