The federal government declaredan important petrol price drop and diesel price cut on Sunday, pointing out the fourth straight reduction in as many fortnightly critiques.

Effective from September 16, the cost of petrol has been decreased by Rs. 10 per liter, getting it down to Rs. 249.10, while fuel prices in Pakistan for high-speed diesel have been cut by Rs. 13.06 per liter, making the new price Rs. 249.69.
This reduction in fuel prices is due to the constant drop in international oil prices, which have fallen below $70 per barrel. Over the last fortnight, the Pakistani Rupee kept regular at 278 against the US dollar.
In the previous examination, petrol prices were cut by Rs. 1.86 per liter, while diesel saw a deduction of Rs. 3.32 per liter. Petrol and diesel prices have fallen by Rs. 16.50 per liter and Rs. 20.88 per liter, respectively, over the last 3 adjustments
