The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has rejected reports suggesting that Pakistan’s Hajj flight operations could be disrupted due to the current situation in the Middle East.
In a statement, the ministry said the claims circulating in some sections of the media are incorrect and clarified that preparations for Hajj 2026 are continuing according to schedule.
A spokesperson for the ministry stated that no decision has been made to suspend or delay flights carrying Pakistani pilgrims, adding that attempts to link regional tensions with Pakistan’s Hajj arrangements are misleading.
According to officials, visa issuance for intending pilgrims is currently underway, while logistical and administrative preparations for the pilgrimage are progressing as planned.
The ministry also said that the detailed Hajj flight schedule will be announced after Eid ul Fitr. Once finalized, pilgrims will receive information regarding their travel plans and accommodation arrangements in Makkah and Madinah.
Authorities have advised intending pilgrims to rely only on official updates and avoid unverified reports circulating on media platforms or social networks.
Earlier, private Hajj operators were instructed to complete visa processing for Hajj 2026 by March 15, ahead of the final deadline set by Saudi authorities for March 20.
