The minister stated that by December 2025, the operational fields were contributing significantly to domestic energy output. Natural gas production from these newly developed reserves reached 61 million cubic feet per day, while daily oil production stood at 1,553 barrels.

He added that the remaining 22 discoveries are currently in the processing stage. Once these fields become operational, they are expected to further strengthen Pakistan’s energy production capacity and help ease reliance on imported fuel.
