The government of Pakistan has officially started accepting applications for Hajj 2026 under the government scheme. Registered applicants can now submit their application forms along with the first installment of payment by August 9, 2025.
This year, Hajj expenses will be collected in two installments. For those choosing the longer stay of 38 to 42 days, the first installment is fixed at Rs. 500,000. Meanwhile, those opting for the shorter 20 to 25-day package must pay Rs. 550,000 as the first installment.
Applicants can submit their forms at any of the 14 designated banks across the country. The second installment will be collected starting from November 1, 2025.
Officials have stated that once the allocated quota for the government scheme is filled, no further applications will be accepted under the registered category. However, unregistered applicants will get an opportunity to apply from August 11 to 16, if seats are still available.
This new schedule aims to provide flexibility and more options for Pakistani pilgrims planning to perform Hajj in 2026.
