Aneeq Ahmed, the caretaker minister of religious affairs, formally revealed the Hajj’s price in 2024. He made this announcement during a briefing on the Hajj Policy 2024, which was approved yesterday night by the caretaker cabinet.
Details indicate that the government quota for the Hajj 2024 will cost Rs. 1.075 million. Recall that the government program’s price for the Hajj 2023 was Rs. 11.75 million. According to Aneeq Ahmed, this is the first time in the nation’s history that the Hajj the next year is less expensive than before.
The Saudi government would get its sponsorship quota back for any empty spots in both public and commercial programs.

A thorough monitoring mechanism for the financial management of Hajj organizers will be put in place in compliance with Saudi government laws.
Under the new Hajj policy, pilgrims under ten are permitted to complete their required pilgrimage.
Private Hajj plans will now be more flexible when it comes to offering service staff to those older than 80.
The pilgrim and the Hajj organizers must agree that the pilgrim will receive local aid services while in Saudi Arabia. This will be included in the service-providing contracts, and any infraction will result in fines and the Hajj organizer being placed on a blacklist.
In addition, the Federal Cabinet has authorized a decrease in the Hajj quota for the Hardship Category. Pakistani students enrolled in Saudi Arabian universities will be given preference for local assistants, with 50% of the quota allocated to them. These pupils are going to be employed as welfare personnel.
