On Thursday, the federal government gave its approval to Captain (retired) Muhammad Anwar ul Haq’s appointment as Chairman of the CDAuthority as Chief Commissioner ICT and Ex officio Member of the CDA Board.
The government has been pleased to approve the appointment of Muhammad Anwar ul Haq as Chairman of the CDA Board pursuant to section 6(2) of the CDA Ordinance 1960 with immediate effect and until further orders, according to the Establishment Division’s notification.

Noor ul Amin Mangal was fired by the government last week from both the Chief Commissioner and Chairman CDA positions.
The outgoing official will need to make sure he continues the good work that Mengal was doing. The previous CDA Chairman was quite active in responding to citizen complaints received through social media sites, especially X, formerly known as Twitter.
